Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has been shut down indefinitely as students violently protest hike in their schools fees. Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, was Monday shut down indefinitely over a violent protest by students of the institution. The students were protesting alleged 200 percent increase in the tuition fees of the institution. A press statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Edward Aihevbe, said the decision to close the institution indefinitely was reached after the University’ Senate reviewed the students’ protest.
